I run Tobias Bück Tech, providing ticketsystem & AI consulting under my Softoft brand. I am also a co-founder & shareholder of OpenTicketAI, acting as a part-time advisor while prioritizing my private life.
Who I Am
A quick glimpse behind the laptop.
I'm a young German tech builder and independent consultant. Today, I run my consulting practice, Tobias Bück Tech, Ticketsystem & AI Consulting (Softoft), and support OpenTicketAI as a co-founder and shareholder.
For me, being a founder means alignment, balance, and intentional building. I love turning complex logic puzzles into simple, high-impact ticketing solutions for our clients, while maintaining a healthy, grounded private life.
My Journey
How I got to where I am today
Grown, Attended School & Formed
I was born and raised in Mainz. Growing up alongside my sister in a close-knit, supportive family with my father and mother shaped who I am. I went to high school (Gymnasium) in Mainz, where my fascination with computer science, technology, and building logic structures was sparked.
Studied Business Informatics
I moved to Karlsruhe to study Business Informatics (Wirtschaftsinformatik). While the combination of business and tech was exactly my thing, I was deeply disappointed by the university itself. The academic standard (niveau) was frustratingly low, and the rigid, bureaucratic grading system felt completely disconnected from actual competence. This disappointment became a turning point: it pushed me to look past lectures, teach myself real-world engineering, and focus on building actual systems.
Diving Into Entrepreneurship
Before my current ventures, I co-founded my first business with Laura Blechschmidt. It was an incredible learning curve in bringing concepts to life, but eventually Laura shifted her focus entirely to her university studies. I continued running and managing the business solo, which solidified my foundation in managing clients, scaling software systems, and handling solo operations.
Consulting & Shareholding
Today, I live in Mannheim, focusing on my private life while directing my professional energy where it counts. I run Tobias Bück Tech (doing business under my registered firm Softoft, Tobias Bück e.U.). I also remain an active co-founder and shareholder at OpenTicketAI, consulting as an associate in my free time, while Constanze fully guides the company's daily growth as CEO.

Ticketsystem & AI Consulting
My primary consulting business (registered as Softoft, Tobias Bück e.U.). I specialize in fine-tuning, designing, and automating open-source ticketing environments like OTOBO, Znuny, and Zammad, as well as executing flawless OTRS migrations.
